About Madeline

Hello my name is Madeline and I am a fun, local Milwaukee tennis coach with over 14 years of playing experience and over 5 years of teaching experience! I started playing tennis in elementary school and played competitive tennis starting in middle school. I also played USTA tournaments in both the Midwest as well as the national level.

When I graduated from high school I was #3 in Michigan, #22 in the Midwest and #258 in my recruiting class. I started teaching private tennis lessons at local courts when I was 16. In college, I continued to coach and play some tennis for recreation. Since January, I’ve been working as a tennis coach at Schwartz Tennis Center over at Purdue University. I have gained some new skills in teaching and now have experience teaching both groups and private lessons. I have taught players with a range of skill levels from beginner to advanced. I have coached young kids, high school players, college students and older adults. On average, I teach two group lessons per week and about 10 private lessons. My teaching philosophy is to improve, work hard and have fun! I believe that listening to students and asking questions is important and I strive to help each individual reach all their personal goals. I am passionate about tennis and I enjoy sharing that passion and enthusiasm with others. I have a people first & the tennis player second approach-building relationships with my students is essential.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the Milwaukee area and I will also travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you.

Please contact me through my FindTennisLessons.com coach page and then I will contact you back within 24 hours to introduce myself, answer any questions and if you are interested, we’ll set-up your first tennis lesson or hitting session at a time and place that is convenient for you. I look forward to hearing from you and I look forward to the opportunity to be your Milwaukee tennis coach. See you on court!

Testimonials

"Maddy was not only a great point instructor but a person who can make her students enjoy playing tennis. I personally could feel that my forms, postures, and grips got stable after a month of lessons. I have recommended her lesson to my friends and all of them loved Maddy and her lessons! She takes people's physical boundaries and levels into her teaching. Intermediate players can get the points that you wouldn't catch on your own and can have the rally to practice your changed forms. Also, the new learners can enjoy playing tennis from the start. She encourages the strength of newcomers and helps them to overcome the possible frustration they can get as the new learners. Also, she helps them to develop the proper skills from the very start!"
