The Advanta Championships of Philadelphia was a former WTA Tour professional tennis tournament for women that attracted American tennis legends like Chris Evert, Monica Seles and Steffi Graf. The city of Philadelphia is also proud to be the home of the Philadelphia Freedoms. This unique tennis team first began back in 1974 and continues to compete today in World Team Tennis.

Mylan World Team Tennis is America’s only professional co-ed team sport. After Wimbledon, World Team Tennis took the center stage in professional tennis. Tennis fans have the opportunity to watch world-class men and women professionals on the same team playing singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Mylan WTT is proud of the Mylan Aces program which serves others and is one of the best parts of the competition. The team with the most aces each night is awarded $1,000 towards a local charity of the teams choice. Past players include tennis legends Andre Agassi, Tracy Austin, Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Connors and Chris Evert to name a few.
