Playing in fun community tennis events is exciting for both adults and kids with USTA (United States Tennis Association) sanctioned tennis tournaments that are held throughout the entire year. The Mountain View Open is held on Memorial Day weekend at the Cuesta Park Tennis Center which includes Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles as well as Mixed Doubles tennis events.
This annual event attracts top players from Northern California to compete and win the prize money of $3,500. The admission for this event is free to the general public, so why not join the fun as a player or spectator at this great Mountain View annual tradition!
Mountain View is proud to offer 35 outdoor tennis courts located in 6 parks throughout the city that are open to the public. Cuesta Park Tennis Center is an impressive public tennis complex with a total of 12 lighted outdoor courts available for players of all age groups and skill levels from beginner to advanced. Come out and play in the mornings or evenings at Rengstorff Park on the eight lighted courts-they’re open from 6am to curfew! There are plenty of options to choose from to play tennis or to take tennis lessons.
