Fresno, California is a hub for tourists as the gateway to the world famous Yosemite National Park. The CCTA offers several exciting tennis tournaments throughout the year including the Fresno City Tennis Championships with both singles and doubles that are hosted by the Sierra Sport and Racquet Club in September. Another popular event is the Me-N-Ed’s Tennis Tournament of Champions that is held in October and hosted by the Copper River Country Club. Competing in local tournaments is a great way to challenge yourself and your skills.

Many of the Fresno residents love the game of tennis and are thrilled to have dozens of tennis courts that are open to the public. Roeding Park is a hot spot for tennis players with 15 outdoor tennis courts available to improve their game by either practicing their footwork, taking tennis lessons or competing in local tournaments.
