Hi my name is Julian & I am a local Irvine tennis coach with over 15 years of playing experience and 8 years of teaching experience! I am currently a tennis player on the UC Santa Cruz Men’s Tennis Team alongside taking on the role as an assistant tennis coach. Prior to my injuries, I was a former 13.1 UTR (Universal Tennis Rating). After my 3 years of being team captain at Irvine Valley College’s three time state championship team, I was offered multiple division 1 scholarships to play in Southern California. At Irvine Valley College, I was nominated as an All-American. As a captain and assistant tennis coach, I led and organized practices for the men’s tennis team. I played four years of high school varsity tennis as both a singles and doubles player over at University High School (Division 1). I was ranked the second best doubles player in California. I’ve coached tennis at Bill Barber Park, University High School as well as Nike Tennis Summer Camps. I have been coaching private lessons for the past 6 years from beginners to top ranked juniors and adults. Coaching tennis is one of my biggest passions and I aspire to pass on my love for tennis to my students. I teach tennis lessons here in the Irvine area on outdoor courts but I will also travel up to 5 miles to a tennis court conveniently near you!
