Hello my name is Sara and I am a fun, local Irvine tennis coach with over 18 years of playing experience and over 5 years of teaching experience! I am also a USTA Certified Tennis Professional and ITF Certified Tennis Professional. Originally from Spain, I am a former collegiate tennis player and experienced tennis coach. I have been playing tennis since I was 4 years old. I played four years of college tennis at the University of Charleston, a Top 10 NCAA Division II program, where I competed at a very high level and reached No. 4 in the nation. I was also proud to serve as team captain. I graduated with degrees in Digital Marketing and Sport Business. I’m currently an Assistant Tennis Coach at Concordia University Irvine while doing my Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration. I’ve also had the opportunity to coach at La Cienega Tennis Center in Beverly Hills last summer and this summer at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain. I’ve been teaching tennis in Spain for more than five years as well, working with players of different ages and levels. My coaching style is positive, energetic, and personalized. I believe every player is different, so I like to understand their goals and find ways to make tennis both productive and fun. I’m excited to meet new players, help them grow, and hopefully make them love tennis as much as I do! I teach tennis lessons in the Irvine area and do not travel at this time.
