About Temecula Tennis Coach Luca

Hi my name is Luca and I am a fun, local Temecula tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 8 years of teaching experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional, USTA Safe Play Certified Tennis Coach and USTA Net Generation Tennis Coach. I love teaching beginners & intermediate players of all ages how to hit the correct strokes utilizing the correct progression of balls (red, orange, green and the regular balls), the correct racquet sizes for the young players and also the correct footwork. For the more advanced players, I can offer unique drills, video analysis, and fitness training. I specialize in tennis-specific fitness, agility, strength, as well as foot movement for all skill levels and ages, particularly for junior players.

I utilize video analysis to improve the strokes and the game tactics. I have also coached soccer for many years at the youth and adult levels in the USA and Italy, with an emphasis always on fitness and injury prevention, and I am very aware of the great importance of fitness in the modern game. I constantly study the very best & latest coaching techniques and strategies to improve my student’s game and I try personalizing the training based on his or her objectives. I teach tennis lessons in the Temecula area at Great Oak High School but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that’s near you!
