Hello my name is Josh and I’m a local Sherman Oaks tennis coach with over 40 years of playing experience as well as over 15 years of teaching experience! In addition, I’m a RSPA Certified Recreational Coach and currently have a USTA (United States Tennis Association) Rating of 5.0. I played collegiate tennis at Allan Hancock College and Sonoma State University. I was the High School Boys Varsity Head Coach at the Santa Maria High School from 1999-2000 and a Tennis Professional at the Scott Valley Swim & Tennis Club from 2014-2018. So whether you need to work on forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help out. I teach tennis lessons in Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Studio City, North Hollywood and Northridge but I will also travel up to 15 miles to you!
