*I’M ONLY CURRENTLY TEACHING ADULTS AND KIDS AGES 6 & UP*
Hello my name is Jim and I am a local Menlo Park tennis coach with over 40 years of playing experience and over 30 years of teaching experience! I’m very big on fundamentals, practicing with a purpose, having a good workout and keeping it fun! I was born and raised in Carmel and have lived in the Bay Area for over 30 years. I was a top ranked national junior player and was ranked #16 in the Men’s Open N.C.T.A. I was the tennis coach at Menlo School for 5 years, taught tennis both at the Olympic Club and Alpine Hills Tennis & Swim Club. I also have taught tennis for the City of Menlo Park for over 20 years.
Over the years, I have developed my tennis teaching style through my experience of playing the game, teaching tennis lessons to many different age groups and levels, working with other tennis teachers, participating in fun tennis workshops, studying professional tennis players and watching my students evolve. I feel very fortunate to be able to share my knowledge and help many people to play the great game of tennis! My tennis lessons really focus on the fundamentals of tennis in a fun, passionate, creative & very positive environment! I teach tennis lessons in the Menlo Park area over at Nealon Park and Willow Oaks Park but I do not travel to other locations at this time.
