*I AM NOT CURRENTLY TAKING ANY NEW TENNIS STUDENTS*
Hello my name is Oliver and I am a fun, local Walnut Creek tennis coach with over 50 years of playing experience and over 35 years of teaching experience! I grew up in Germany, where I started playing tennis at age 6 and then quickly found success, winning the Youth Championship at TC Lindau for men’s singles, mixed doubles and secured 2nd place for the men’s doubles. I was also part of the youth development program and competed at a high level. After moving to California in 1990, I continued playing competitively from 1990-1996 at 4.5 and 5.0 USTA NorCal winning several tournaments while still building my coaching career. I enjoy working with players of all ages & skill levels. My coaching style focuses on helping players improve their technique, strategy and confidence-all while keeping the game fun and rewarding. Whether you’re picking up a racquet for the first time, looking to fine-tune your technique or wanting to stay active with a fun, social sport, I offer personalized tennis lessons. With a focus on skill development, strategy and enjoying the game, whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics, an experienced player aiming to level up or someone just wanting to stay active with a fun, social sport, I offer private lessons at local courts or at your location.
