Hello my name is Johnny and I am a fun, local Valley Center tennis coach with over 12 years of playing experience and over 10 years of teaching experience! I am self taught on a backboard and just after a year of playing tennis, I had the opportunity to be mentored by a very experienced tennis coach. I took over his tennis program a year later. I developed an after school, high school program in Valley Center for a year. I had the privilege and opportunity to be a hitting partner for my little sister prior to her departure to play for a Division 1 college and eventually she competed in the ITF Pro Circuit. I am certified by USTA (United States Tennis Association) for 10 & under tennis, Play Safe & the TGA after school programs for 10 & under. I’m a certified personal trainer thru NESTA Certification Programs (through NASM) and I am also very proud to be a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional. In addition to teaching tennis, I also teach pickleball locally as well. Please click here to visit my FindPickleballLessons.com coach page. I teach tennis lessons here at Robert Adam’s Community Park (Valley Center), Brengle Terrace Park (Vista), Kit Carson Park (Escondido) and Temecula Valley High School but I will also travel up to 15 miles!
