Hello my name is Paul and I am a local Rochester tennis coach with over 44 years of playing experience and over 30 years of teaching experience! I am also a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional and PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I was the Head Tennis Professional at the Genesee Valley Club here in Rochester for 18 years after getting my start & training at Midtown Tennis Club for 4 years. I have learned and now teach the modern stroke production that has evolved since the 70s. I utilize my expertise in fitness & nutrition to enhance athletic performance and conditioning of my students. I have a true love and a true passion for the sport, arguably the greatest sport ever played!
Description of Teaching Methodology: After receiving the feedback about the student’s goals, I then observe technique and footwork with fundamental drills & make an assessment of the primary tennis skills to sharpen for progressive development. Depending upon the student’s skill level, I tailor the training sessions with optimizing the amount of difficulty to push the student in incremental steps. Part of the teaching process is hitting with the student to demonstrate with them visually. This complements the verbal questions and feedback. In addition to teaching tennis, I also teach pickleball locally as well. Please click here to visit my FindPickleballLessons.com coach page. I teach tennis lessons here in the Rochester area but will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
