Hello my name is Chip & I am a local Redondo Beach tennis coach with over 60 years of playing experience & over 45 years teaching experience. I am also a RSPA Elite Certified Tennis Professional and PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I grew up as a second generation tennis pro in Redondo Beach, California. My dad, Jack Weber, moved to the South Bay area and started the Palos Verdes Tennis Club in 1963. I earned a double scholarship (tennis and basketball) to NCAA Division 1 Idaho State University where I played #1 singles for them. After college, I stayed on to be the university’s head tennis coach. I achieved a state ranking of #1 in Open Mixed Doubles and Top 5 in Men’s Open Singles & Open Doubles (USTA 1981 Yearbook Ranking). Since then, I have taught at many clubs & resorts all over the world. I teach tennis lessons in the Redondo Beach area at Alta Vista Park but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that’s near you!

Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $45 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3-6 Players): $80 Per Hour (Entire Group)
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $80 Per Hour
