About Juan

Hello my name is Juan and I am a local Pensacola tennis coach with over 22 years of playing experience and over 8 years of teaching experience! Graduating from the University of West Florida with two degrees, I spent 6 years as a player in the university’s tennis team, where I honed my skills & also deepened my passion for the sport.

Transitioning into coaching over 8 years ago, I bring an unwavering commitment to teaching in every lesson I conduct. With a keen eye for detail, I meticulously assess player’s techniques, identifying both strengths and weaknesses across all aspects of the game including forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads, serves and also strategic gameplay. My coaching philosophy revolves around individualization, tailoring my approach to enhance each player’s unique abilities while addressing areas ripe for improvement. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I ensure seamless communication & personalized guidance for all my tennis students, drawing upon my diverse experiences in Argentina and the United States to enrich their learning journey on the court. Whether mentoring a high schooler aiming to elevate their game, refining the skills of a competitive adult player or nurturing the potential of an aspiring young talent, my ultimate objective remains constant: to instill discipline, resilience and a profound love for tennis in every individual, equipping them with the skills and the strategies necessary to excel at any level of play when out on the tennis court.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the Pensacola area-will travel up to 15 miles.

Private Tennis Lessons (1 Player): $70 Per Hour
Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $40 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $30 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $80 Per Hour

*Please note that if you are interested in semi-private tennis lessons (2 players) or group tennis lessons (3+ players), you will first need to find a friend(s) to take tennis lessons with you before contacting me.
