Hello my name is Mark and I am a local Oakhurst tennis coach with over 37 years of playing experience and over 31 years of teaching experience! I began teaching tennis at age 16 working as a helper and taught junior tennis clinics and the club that I played at. Since that time I have continued to teach year-round part-time or full-time. Through the years, I have gained experience in many parts of the tennis industry including working as club staff tennis professional at 2 clubs, a boys’ and girls’ high school tennis coach, a tennis director at three residential camps and a coach for the USTA’s (United States Tennis Association) player development program. As a player, I was a state ranked community college tennis player in 1990 and was also a nationally ranked college player in NCAA Division II in 1991 and 1993. I teach tennis lessons locally at Yosemite High School in Oakhurst!
