Hello my name is Marcin and I am a fun, local Los Angeles tennis coach with over 35 years of playing experience and over 17 years of teaching experience! I am also a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional.
I grew up in a tennis family-my sister Sylvia played for Pepperdine University, my sister Nicole played for Baylor and my brother Daniel played for UCLA and then later played on the ATP Pro Tour. I had an outstanding history as a player before I entered the ranks as a coach at the Westchester Tennis Center eleven years ago. I was ranked #3 in California and #24 nationally simultaneously in the junior division.
I enjoyed a stellar career in college at University of California, Santa Barbara. I was the team captain, Big West First Team Honoree five times and Big West Tournament MVP in 2002. I also enjoyed the #1 ranking in Southern California in both Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and I held a ranking on the ATP Pro Tour that has attributed to my background in my teaching abilities and career. In addition, I recently coached a Junior Satellite/Open Division team in the Westside Fall Junior League. I am also the official tennis stringer for LA Tennis, Inc. In addition to teaching tennis, I also teach pickleball locally as well. Please click here to visit my FindPickleballLessons.com coach page. I teach tennis lessons in the Los Angeles area but I will also travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
