Hello my name is Mario and I am a local Houston tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience! I am also a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional. I am originally from Colombia and have been playing tennis since I was 9 years old. Throughout my career, I have competed in both national and international tournaments. I currently hold a degree in Sports Science from the National School of Sport, specializing in sports fitness, talent identification and also tennis. My expertise extends to rehabilitation, injury prevention & all aspects of sports and recreation at various levels of human development. In addition, I volunteered with the University of Kentucky’s women’s tennis team and have worked with multiple tennis clubs in Connecticut. Additionally, I’ve collaborated with academies in Houston and currently coach players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors.
