I peaked as one of the very best 5.0 players in NorCal during the early 2000’s making the Top 8 in Grand Prix points and making the season end tournament. I was especially known for kick serves and world class volleys. I have been coaching for 34 years and I am the author of 7 books. My former players have played the professional tour, many have played college tennis and around 100 have won championships & awards in high school tennis.
On the other hand, about 80% of people who play tennis just want to rally with a friend, 15% want to just play socially and not embarrass themselves and less than 5% want to get super competitive. I love them all! Which one are you? For many years I was a RSPA and PTR pro, but I have studied so much neuroscience and much of what they teach no longer appeals to me or students. I get you playing FAST! I teach tennis lessons here in the El Cajon area but I am also willing to travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently near you!
