Hello my name is Maura and I am a fun, local East Amherst tennis coach with over 40 years of playing experience and over 25 years of teaching experience! I was the assistant then head tennis coach of the D’Youville University Women’s Tennis Team for 4 years. I have played in many local and national tournaments throughout my years in the USTA (United States Tennis Association). I attended Oregon State University and played on their varsity club tennis team where I developed a true passion for playing and teaching the game. I also have experience working with special needs students and can also modify my lessons to help them have success and fun! I have been rated a 4.5 NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) and can conduct tennis lessons for beginners all the way to high performance juniors. I teach fun tennis lessons in the Amherst, East Amherst, Williamsville, Tonawanda, Kenmore, Buffalo and Lockport areas but will also travel up to 25 miles to a tennis court that’s conveniently located near you!
