Hi there my name is Donny and I am a local Bradenton tennis coach with over 25 years of playing experience! I have also been teaching as a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional for over 17 years which has included fitness training with players on the court and off the court. I currently own and operate Saab-Alvarez Tennis & Fitness Academy. Originally from the New York City area, I was a professional personal trainer there and worked as a personal coach as well as for the New York Sport Times & National Tennis Center in Flushing Queens. I also have a BA degree in American Studies in Government from the State University of New York at Old Wesbury. I moved to Florida in 2009.
My passions are running and cycling in addition to teaching tennis. So whatever your aspiration or skill level, I will find a way to improve your game and your life. Tennis is a wonderful and exciting journey that is never ending. In addition, I truly believe in not overcharging for tennis lessons because I love teaching the great game of tennis. I teach fun tennis lessons in the Bradenton area at Martha King Middle School over in Palma Sola but I’m also willing to travel up to 10 miles!
