About Rakkan

Hello my name is Rakkan and I am a fun, local Washington DC tennis coach with over 16 years of playing experience and over 3 years of teaching experience! I have been playing competitive tennis since I was seven years old, playing in my first USTA (United States Tennis Association) tournament in 2007. I was ranked Top 10 in 10 and under and Top 20 in 12, 14, 16, 18 and under in the mid Atlantic. I competed in tournaments nationally that include the USTA National Clay Court Championships. I play college tennis now at Kenyon in Ohio. I have a 30-7 match record in Division 3 tennis as a starter throughout my first 2 years. I have coached tennis programs at Pass Academy and have worked with many tennis students over the years privately as well.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the DMV area and will travel up to 10 miles.

Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $25 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $20 Per Hour Each
