Hello my name is Jose and I am a local Tamarac tennis coach with over 30 years of playing experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I am a dedicated tennis coach with over 10 years of teaching experience specializing in developing young tennis players between the ages of 5 and 10. My passion is teaching children from an early age, helping them build strong fundamentals and proper technique from the start. My goal is to create a fun, engaging and structured learning environment where kids can develop solid tennis fundamentals, learn proper stroke mechanics, improve movement and coordination and gain confidence/discipline both on/off court.
In addition to being a PTR Certified Tennis Professional, I hold a certification in biomechanics, which allow me to design training sessions that are safe, age-appropriate and effective for young athletes. At the tennis academy where I currently coach, I prepare children for competition through well-structured programs focused on movement, stroke development and learning how to compete.
I also specialize in red and orange ball training, ensuring children progress step-by-step in a way that keeps tennis enjoyable while preparing them for future levels of play. My tennis teaching approach combines professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm to inspire a lifelong love for tennis while building skills that will last a lifetime. I teach tennis lessons here in the Tamarac area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
