About Tobi

Hi! My name is Tobi and I am a local San Diego tennis coach with over 17 years of playing experience and over 14 years of teaching experience. I am also a local PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I am originally from England and I started playing tennis when I was 13 years old. My favorite player is Rafael Nadal, I always loved his never-say-die attitude and relentless work ethic. I have almost 20 years of combined playing and coaching experience across 2 countries with the Professional Tennis Registry. My main strengths playing are my serve and forehand. My main strengths coaching is analytical and technical instruction and making tennis lessons fun and engaging!

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons and group tennis lessons for most all ages (teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I am happy to help!

I teach lessons at Colina Del Sol Park in Mid-City but I don’t travel.
