About Iva
Hello my name is Iva and I am a local San Diego tennis coach with over 27 years of playing experience! My love for this sport started at the very young age of 7. I grew up in Eastern Europe where I first started to play and compete. I was able to reach top 5 juniors under the ETA (European Tennis Association) and played on the WTA Pro Circuit for two years after deciding to take a scholarship in the USA. I have been coaching for 15+ years now and have experience teaching all levels and ages from private to group lessons, tennis camps for children, clinics for adults as well as hitting lessons and also working with junior teams. I am also a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the San Diego area but will also travel up to 15-20 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located near you.
