Hi my name is Coach Russell and I am a local Roslyn Estates tennis coach with over 30 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience! I am also an RSPA Certified Tennis Professional and the current Owner/Head Tennis Professional at Roslyn Estates Tennis Club. In addition, I am a tennis tournament director and team coordinator. From 2010 to 2017, I was the Head Pro at Kings Point Indoor Tennis. As a player, I grew up training at my parents indoor tennis club in Great Neck and also Port Washington Tennis Academy. I was a sectional ranked junior player in the east and was in the top 10 in the 16’s and 18’s. I earned a scholarship to SDSU (South Dakota State University), but then decided to play at Queens College which is a Division 1 school. After college, I continued to play in and to run several tournaments each year in Roslyn Estates. In 2015, I was #1 ranked men’s 30s player in the east as well as the #2 ranked men’s 25s player in the east! I only teach lessons here at my club in Roslyn.

Summer Tennis Camp (Ages 9-15 & All Skill Levels Welcome):
Join our fun and instructional Afternoon Summer Tennis Camp at the Tennis King in Roslyn Estates! We start at the end of June and it runs Monday-Friday (daily or weekly options) with a main focus on stroke development, footwork, games and match play. The summer tennis camp is run by Coach Russell who has over 20 years of experience coaching juniors of all levels.
