About Ana
Hello my name is Ana and I am a local Riverside tennis coach with over 15 years of playing experience and over 7 years of teaching experience! From 2018 to 2023, I was a student-athlete at the University of Wyoming (Division 1) playing tennis. My journey in tennis started at a young age and I have since dedicated myself to both playing and coaching the sport. I have valuable experience coaching at esteemed academies like MTA Tennis Academy and Global Tennis Academy in Spain, where I honed my tennis skills in developing players and fostering a positive learning environment.
On the court, I have achieved notable rankings, including being ranked among the top five in the U18 region and the top 100 in the Spanish open ranking. I’ve also qualified for prestigious tournaments such as the ITA Mountain Region Tournament. In addition to my individual achievements, I’ve been honored as part of the Mountain West All-Doubles Team in 2020, 2021 and 2022 showcasing my skills in doubles play. With fluency in both Spanish and English, I bring a diverse perspective and effective communication to my coaching and interactions with players, creating a supportive and motivating environment for them to excel in their tennis journey.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Riverside area at Fairmount Park but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court located close to you.
