About Bob

Hello my name is Bob (UncleBob is my handle) and I am a local Port Jefferson tennis coach with over 35 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience! I am also a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional and PTR Certified Tennis Professional as well as a USTA NY Officer and Assistant Varsity Tennis Coach at Stony Brook University. As a 15 year junior, high school, adult, college coach and guest tennis pro at many Caribbean resorts, you will quickly see how I approach tennis with our USTA method: All 14 strokes development, footwork and winning strategies to tackle any opponent. Get ready for 800 fresh new balls and lotsa laughs in between! My trainers? The best: Nick Bollettieri from IMG, Patrick McEnroe and the Bryan Brothers. I am also the tennis columnist for several LI magazines. You will also receive my custom tennis improvement booklet and gifts!

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I teach from Stony Brook to Westhampton on Long lsland & my local rate $50 per hour and $75 per hour beyond Rocky Point.
