About Wayne
Hi my name is Wayne & I’m a fun, local Oroville tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 1 year of teaching experience! I am also a NFHS Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Tennis Coach. In addition, I am a professional English teacher and coach with over 20 years of experience teaching all academic subjects (math, science, language, music, animal husbandry in 4H and also outdoor survival skills) and I coached youth soccer for 10 years.
I am currently coaching the local high school boy’s tennis team. Tennis is my favorite sport and fitness activity. My goal is to promote tennis in my community and train future competitive players. Tennis is one of the best sports for fitness as well as lifelong participation.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in Oroville but I will also travel up to 10 miles.

Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $20 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $15 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $25 Per Hour
