Hi my name is Jose and I am a fun, local Miami tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 7 years of teaching experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I have dedicated a lifetime to the world of tennis, embarking on a journey that’s seen me wear multiple hats in this beloved sport. It all began with my ITF and ATP professional playing career, competing at the highest levels of the game. From there, I transitioned into the intense and competitive world of Division 1 college tennis, where I further refined my skills and also deepened my understanding of the sport.
My passion for the game of tennis led me to share all my expertise with others, and for the past seven years, I’ve been a tennis coach, working with players of all levels. From beginners taking their first swings to advanced players honing their skills, I’ve enjoyed a diverse and rewarding coaching experience. What sets me apart is not just my coaching expertise but also my ability to connect with a very wide range of individuals. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, making it easy for me to bridge any language gaps and establish rapport with a diverse group of tennis enthusiasts. Tennis is way more than just a game-it’s a way of life. I’m excited to continue sharing my love for the sport and to help players of all levels improve their game. I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Miami area but will travel up to 20 miles.
