Hello my name is James and I’m a fun, local Mesa tennis coach with over 24 years of playing experience and over 11 years of teaching experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I played for Mesa Community College (NJCAA Division 1) for 2 years and then became their assistant tennis coach for 2 years after ranking MCC #14 in the nation. After college, I was hired to coach at a private club in Yuma, AZ for 4 years and moved back down to Mesa to continue my education in sports science and computer technology while also coaching part-time privately. A few of my tennis students have had much success in playing tennis-winning championships, ranking for junior and senior high schools as well as ranking at the college level. I teach tennis lessons in the Mesa area at Freestone Park, Mcqueen Park, Kleiman Park and Gilbert Regional Park but I will also travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
