About Los Angeles Tennis Coach Matan
Hello my name is Matan and I am a fun, local Los Angeles tennis coach with over 18 years of playing experience and over 3 years of teaching experience! I pride myself on meeting each student exactly where they are. Every lesson is tailored to your level and your goals-whether you’re learning fundamentals for the first time or looking to improve consistency, movement, and match play. I take the time to identify what’s holding you back and create a clear, simple path to improvement. A big focus in my coaching is developing relaxed and efficient technique. I emphasize strong leg drive, loose wrists, and clean movement so players can generate effortless power without tension. The goal is to build a game that feels natural, confident, and repeatable under pressure. No two sessions are exactly the same and there’s nothing better than seeing a player grow more confident as their skills improve. I look forward to working together and helping you take the next step in your game. I teach tennis lessons in the Los Angeles area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a court near you!
