Hello my name is Alex and I am a fun, local Los Angeles tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience & over 8 years of teaching experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional and USTA Certified Tennis Professional. I am originally from Minsk, Belarus and was ranked among the top 10 juniors my age (highest UTR 11.8) back home. In the U.S., I competed at #1 singles and #1 doubles spot for a Division 2 school on a full scholarship in Michigan. Tennis and part-time coaching have always been a big part of my life. I coached high school and college, and briefly worked as a head pro at a sports club. Currently, I coach part-time in West Los Angeles, working my day job is Data Scientist. I teach tennis lessons in the Los Angeles area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that’s located near you!
