About Yasmin

Hello my name is Yasmin and I’m a fun, local Kalamazoo tennis coach and Ann Arbor tennis coach with over 33 years of playing experience and over 23 years of teaching experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional and certified in 10 and under tennis as well as cardio tennis. I started playing tennis when I was only 8 years old at Gezira Sporting Club in Cairo, Egypt. I was ranked #1 in Egypt for 18 and under and also #120 in the ITF (International Tennis Federation).

At the age of 18, I moved to U.S. to play college tennis at Brenau University and at Sacramento State University California (Division 1). I have taught at Ridgewood Country Club, Middlebury Racquet Club and Beaver Brook in Connecticut. I was the Assistant Tennis Director for the last 6 years over at Travis Pointe Country Club in Ann Arbor.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the Kalamazoo area at West Hills Athletic Club & also teach some tennis lessons in the Ann Arbor area as well.
