About Yasmin
Hi my name is Yasmin! I’m a fun, local Ann Arbor tennis coach with over 33 years of playing experience and over 23 years of teaching experience. I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional and I am certified in 10 & under tennis as well as cardio tennis. I first started playing tennis when I was only 8 years old at Gezira Sporting Club back in my home country (Cairo, Egypt). I was ranked #1 in Egypt for 18 & under and also #120 in the ITF (International Tennis Federation).
At the age of 18, I moved to U.S. to play college tennis at Brenau University and at Sacramento State University California (Division 1). I have taught at Ridgewood Country Club, Middlebury Racquet Club and Beaver Brook in Connecticut. I was the Assistant Tennis Director for the last 6 years over at Travis Pointe Country Club in Ann Arbor.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Ann Arbor area and I am also willing to travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently near you.
