Hi my name is Frank and I am a local Jamestown tennis coach with over 25 years of playing experience and over 11 years of teaching experience! I was fortunate enough to grow up in a caring, loving environment where my brothers, sister & I each excelled at several sports such as baseball, hockey, tennis, soccer, swimming, figure skating, gymnastics, sailing and golf. The spirit of fair and honest competition was instilled in me at an early age, as was the desire to excel. I really strive to exhibit these qualities when teaching tennis.
I don’t necessarily specialize in any one aspect of the game nor do I have a specific teaching specialty. I take each individual on their own merits and work developing their strengths and also eliminating their weaknesses. I structure each tennis lesson to each according to the particular individual and what they are looking to accomplish. I have taught young kids looking to just have fun, engage in conversation, laugh, and hit some tennis balls. I’ve also taught teenagers looking to make the high school team and those looking to climb the ladder on the team. I have taught adults looking to get better at the local tennis club and those looking for tips on how to beat that particular person. I teach tennis lessons in the Jamestown area but I am also willing to travel up to 50 miles to tennis court conveniently located near you! I have also been teaching at the Todd Morsilli Tennis Center which is located at Roger Williams Park on the clay courts for several years.
