About Huntington Tennis Coach Kitty

Hello my name is Kitty and I am a fun, local Huntington tennis coach with over 30 years of playing experience & over 6 years of teaching experience! I am also a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional. In 2026, I was the recipient of the United States Tennis Association’s Special Service to Tennis Award. Coaching can begin as early as 4 years old. I welcome friends and as well as couples that would love to get fit out on the tennis courts, your child that is hoping to make the school tennis team, the current or former player wanting to brush up on their skills or just the mid-lifer looking for exercise and a captivating new pastime. Beginner or intermediate, I strive to make all of my lessons rewarding and fulfilling and you will be eager to schedule your next session. Along with all the tennis fundamentals, I will coach applied strategies and tactics, game play tactics and steady improvement in consistency and skill. Your confidence, mental keenness and agility will improve along with your strokes! I have many ties to the tennis community on Long Island and could introduce casual play, league play and USTA play opportunities when you feel ready. I am based in the Huntington township but will go out of my way to meet you on a regular basis. 1-1’s, semi-privates, small groups and tennis parties are welcomed. I teach fun tennis lessons in the Huntington area but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is located near you!
