About Rod
Hello, my name is Rod and I am a local Houston tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience! I picked up my first tennis racquet at 13 and have been competing in Miami and Houston for the last 12 years. Today you’ll find me competing in local USTA (United States Tennis Association) and flex leagues near the Houston area. I have won regional USTA leagues and I’m constantly improving my game and my coaching skills. I can’t wait to share my tips and tricks with you on the court!
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for most all skill levels (intermediate and advanced players). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Houston area but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you.

Private Tennis Lessons (1 Player): $60 Per Hour
Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $40 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $30 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $50 Per Hour
Teaches All Ages & Only Intermediate & Advanced Levels!
*Please note that if you are interested in semi-private tennis lessons (2 players) or group tennis lessons (3+ players), you will first need to find a friend(s) to take tennis lessons with you before contacting me.
