About Nguyen

Hi my name is Nguyen! I’m a local Houston tennis coach with over 10 years of playing experience and over 2 years of teaching experience! My teaching focuses on getting the correct stroke techniques & the footwork first with the use of a tennis ball machine. I prefer rallying consistency with my players once they can control the ball. I started playing tennis at 12 years old. I played for my high school tennis team and have won various regional and district awards. After high school, I continued playing for the University of Illinois and the University of Houston Tennis Club. In 2021, while doing my MBA at the University of Houston, I coached some my friends & students near the campus tennis courts. Today, I mostly play for fun but I’m also teaching some tennis lessons and hitting sessions locally here in the Houston area.

I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!

I teach tennis lessons in the Houston area but I am also willing to travel up to 5 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently near you.
