*I AM NOT CURRENTLY TAKING ANY NEW TENNIS STUDENTS*
Hi my name is Isabelle and I am a local Greenville tennis coach with over 21 years of playing experience and over 3 years of teaching experience! I am a former professional tennis player & NCAA Division I athlete. I grew up playing national and international tournaments and had the honor of representing Canada at the Junior Billie Jean King Cup (formerly known as Junior Fed Cup) in 2016. I went on to play for The Ohio State University where I competed for five years. During my time there, I reached a career-high ITA ranking of No. 19 in singles and No. 12 in doubles, and helped lead the team to multiple Big Ten championships as well as NCAA tournament appearances.
After finishing my college and professional playing career, I then transitioned into coaching and have worked with a wide range of players. I’ve coached everyone from first-time beginners to nationally ranked junior players and competitive adults. I currently serve as an assistant coach for the women’s tennis team at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina while also offering private lessons in the area. My goal is to make each session personalized, productive, and enjoyable. I focus on building strong fundamentals, improving tactical understanding, and helping players grow mentally and physically on the court. I believe in creating a positive environment where players feel confident, supported, and motivated to improve. Whether you’re just starting out, preparing for competitive matches, or returning to the game, I’d love to help you reach your goals-so let’s get started. I teach tennis lessons in the Greenville area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
