Hello my name is Hugo and I am a local Glendale tennis coach with over 16 years of playing experience and over 4 years of teaching experience! I also have a Spanish Tennis Federation Certification. I’m playing for Arizona Christian University in Glendale and have a 11.3 singles and 10.8 doubles UTR (Ultimate Tennis Rating). I started to play tennis when I was 4 years old and I’ve been playing ever since then. I played and trained at the Barcino Tennis Academy and then came to Arizona to combine both studies and sports. Last year, I was nominated with All American Honors and I was also in the Top 11 for doubles in the NAIA (2023). This year (2024), I have been ranked in the Top 8 for singles and also Top 5 for doubles in the nation (NAIA). I teach tennis lessons in the Glendale area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
