About Dan
Hello my name is Dan and I am a local Frederick tennis coach with over 45 years of playing experience and over 40 years of playing experience! I am also a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional. I am the former General Manager and Director of Tennis at the Denver Tennis Club. As as a player, I participated in league and tournament tennis at a 4.5 and 5.0 level for over 30 years. As a teacher, I have always been very involved with the USTA (United States Tennis Association) league teams, private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons as well as junior development. In October of 2023, I changed my career path and resigned from the Denver Tennis Club after 26 years to be closer to home and to build a wedding event venue on my farm located in Frederick/Firestone. Although tennis is not full time for me anymore, I still love to teach part time the sport that gave me so much and I am excited to bring my experience to the community here in the area.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach private tennis lessons in Frederick & do not travel at this time.
