About Jana
Hello Everyone! My name is Jana and I am a local Fort Myers tennis coach with over 44 years of playing experience and over 15 years of teaching experience. I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, played tennis tournaments in Russia and was ranked in the Top 20 in Russia as a junior tennis player. I then graduated from Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health in St. Petersburg with a BA degree in physical education. I began teaching tennis as a career back in St. Petersburg, Russia and also played team tennis in Vienna, Austria and Garmisch, Germany. I was the tennis program director and tennis indoor facility manager at Hausberg, Riesersee Tennis Blub in Garmisch, Germany and was Spare Time Clubs Youth Tennis Coordinator for Broadstone RC in Folsom, California. I taught competitive/tournament programs for USTA junior players, boys, girls and taught ladies’ clinics for competitive USTA players 3.5-5.0. I was USPTA certified in 2013. I coached the Oak Ridge High School and Vista High School teams in Folsom, California (varsity boys and girls).
In Seefeld, Austria I coached at the ESTESS Tennis Academy & also managed junior tennis programs. I was the tournament director for several ITF junior tournaments and UTR tournaments in Seefeld, Austria. I hold several European teaching tennis credentials and USPTA certifications. I coached both the Bishop Verot and Cypress Lakes high school girls varsity tennis team right here in Fort Myers.
I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game!
I teach tennis lessons in the Fort Myers area and do not travel.

Group Tennis Lessons (3+ Players): $25 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $70 Per Hour
