I am a dedicated tennis coach with a robust competitive background. As a Division 1 tennis athlete, I played at the University of South Carolina and William & Mary, where I served as team captain for four years fostering leadership and unity. Ranked among the Top 75 college singles players nationally and also recognized in doubles, I also earned three Maryland state championships, showcasing my competitive drive and my technical skill. My coaching journey spans diverse settings, from serving as a senior pro at a prestigious country club to delivering high-performance one-on-one training for aspiring collegiate players. I specialize in personalized instruction, tailoring sessions to players of all levels-beginners mastering fundamentals to advanced competitors honing strategy as well as mental resilience.
My approach emphasizes technique, court awareness, and match-play preparation, ensuring each player achieves their unique goals. My passion lies in helping players unlock their potential, whether they’re aiming to improve recreationally or compete at higher levels. With a very deep understanding of the game and a commitment to fostering growth, I create a very supportive environment to elevate both skills and the confidence of my players out on the tennis court. I teach tennis lessons in the Encinitas area but I will also travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
