About Dublin Tennis Coach Alexandra
Hello my name is Alexandra & I am a local Dublin tennis coach with over 10 years of playing experience and over 8 years of teaching experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I am a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Industry. I’ve been passionate about tennis since fourth grade, and with almost fifteen years of experience in the sport, I’ve had the opportunity to grow both as a player and a coach. I have over five years of coaching experience at Elysium Tennis Club, where I began my training at a young age and later transitioned into coaching. I spent nine years training at Elysium, which has been key in developing my understanding of the game.
My coaching experience spans a wide variety of roles, from providing private lessons, group clinics, junior team matches & seasonal camps to working with players of all ages and skill levels. In addition to my work over at Elysium, I have coached tennis at several country clubs. I also gained valuable experience coaching at Grizzell Middle School, where I worked with both boys’ and girls’ tennis teams and assisted with other sports programs during the school year. As a player, I was part of the varsity tennis team at Dublin Coffman High School, where I earned 2nd Team All-OCC honors playing doubles both in 2016 and 2018, and was a District Qualifier in 2018. This experience, combined with my years of coaching, enabled me to guide players to improve. My tennis coaching philosophy is very focused on skill development, building confidence, and ensuring that each session is engaging and enjoyable. I’m dedicated to helping players progress both on and off the tennis court through tailored instruction & support here in Dublin. I teach tennis lessons here in the Dublin area but I will also travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
