About Luis

Hello my name is Luis and I am a local Doral tennis coach! I have been deeply involved in the sport for over 13 years, both as a player and as a coach here in Miami. My journey with tennis began at the age of thirteen and ever since then, I have dedicated myself to mastering the game. Over the years, I have honed my skills on the court, gaining valuable experience that has shaped me into the player and coach I am today. Throughout my tennis career, I have achieved significant milestones including being crowned USTA (United States Tennis Association) champion twice in Miami-Dade County. These victories not only reflect my dedication to the sport but also demonstrate my ability to compete at the very highest level. Additionally, I hold numerous certifications from the ITF (International Tennis Federation), which further validate my expertise in the field.

Beyond my achievements on the court, I have pursued academic endeavors in the field of medicine, dedicating eight years to studying this discipline. My background in medicine provides me with a very unique perspective on physical fitness and nutrition, allowing me to offer comprehensive guidance to my tennis students. I believe that a holistic approach to training is essential for achieving success in tennis and in life. As a tennis coach, I am committed to providing top-quality instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced player seeking to refine your technique, I offer a range of lesson options tailored to meet your needs. From private sessions to group classes, I strive to create a fun and supportive learning environment where students can thrive. Currently, I teach tennis lessons at the ALE Tennis Academy, conveniently located in the Doral, Sweetwater and Kendall areas. However, I am also willing to travel up to 20 miles to accommodate students who prefer a more accessible location.

My goal is to make tennis accessible to everyone in our community, helping individuals discover the joy and fulfillment that comes from playing this incredible sport. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and help you achieve your tennis goals. Whether you’re looking to improve your forehand, backhand, volley, serve or any other aspect of your game, I am here to support you.
