About Brookhaven Tennis Coach John

Hello my name is John and I’m a local Brookhaven tennis coach with over 40 years of playing experience and over 20 years of teaching experience! I am also an active member of both the RSPA (Racquet Sports Professionals Association) and also the Georgia Professional Tennis Association. I played NCAA collegiate tennis where I served as co-captain of my team. I received my USPTA teaching certification back in 1992 as well as the award for Outstanding Tennis Instruction at Clemson University that same year. I also received my professional training while employed at Tennis Corporation of America and was awarded a sponsorship by Wilson Sporting Goods. I have instructed both adults and juniors of all ages, including both state and nationally ranked players. I have a passion for teaching and I am known for my patience, positive reinforcement and ability to achieve great results. I teach tennis lessons in the Brookhaven area but I will also travel up to 5 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
