Hello my name is Thomas and I am a fun, local Boyds tennis coach with over 20 years of playing experience & over 6 years of teaching experience! I started playing tennis around the age of 4. Throughout my youth, I competed in USTA tournaments around the region and across the country. Most recently, I was a 4-year starter at Kenyon College (ranked in the top 20 D3), playing in the top position my senior year. I have coached at the Montgomery County TennisPlex for a number of summers, serving as a hitter/instructor there. My accomplishments include Washington Post All-Metropolitan 1st Team, 3x NCAC First Team Singles, and 3x NCAC Second Team Doubles. I teach tennis lessons in the Boyds area but I will also travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located close to you!
