About Bowie Tennis Coach Ivan
Hello my name is Ivan and I am a fun, local Bowie tennis coach with over 15 years of playing experience and over 10 years of teaching experience. I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I used to play ITF (International Tennis Federation) tournaments as well as Futures but have now transitioned to teaching tennis to pass on my knowledge to other players. Having taught tennis for over a decade, I am a very patient coach and try to focus on prioritizing fundamentals while keeping my tennis lessons fun with all of my students. I offer positive encouragement & also like to show video analysis of strokes. So whether you need to work on forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help out. I teach tennis lessons here in the Bowie, DC and Arlington area but will travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court that is located close to you!
