About Boca Raton Tennis Coach Gabriel

Hello my name is Gabriel and I am a local Boca Raton tennis coach with over 26 years of playing experience & over 5 years of teaching experience! I am also a RSPA Certified Tennis Professional. I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and lived there until I graduated from high school. I played tennis from a very young age at a competitive level and attended various tennis tournaments around the country competing both for my high school team and also my country club.

I came to the United States to study back in 2012 and attended the Miami International University of Art & Design where I studied film production. I still kept involved in tennis while in college and started coaching in 2019. I have worked at various facilities including Patch Reef Tennis Center, Boca Raton Tennis Center, Boca Raton Swim and Racquet Center as well as country clubs including Boca West, Boca Woods, Boca Bath and Tennis, among many others. I stay active in playing tennis and teaching around 30+ hours on the court every week. Tennis is a passion for me-it’s more than just a business-I really enjoy working in the industry as well as developing the connections. I teach tennis lessons in the Boca Raton area but I will also travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located near you!
