Hello my name is Mari and I am a local Beaverton tennis coach! I am a graduate of California State University Northridge where I played on the NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Team and held a 9.18 UTR (Universal Tennis Ratings). I have over 10 years of coaching/teaching experience ranging from complete beginners to high level collegiate athletes and overall have 23 years of competitive tennis experience including USTA (United States Tennis Association) and Intercollegiate Athletics. I teach players at all ages and at all levels and I am positive that my love of the game, my skills, and my character will create the best environment to learn tennis and also to have a great workout! Whether you need to work on tactical and strategical gameplay or simply learn to just hit a tennis ball correctly, I am the coach for you. I teach tennis lessons in the Portland area but I’m willing to travel up to 15 miles to a tennis court that’s conveniently located close to you!
