About Filippo
Hello my name is Filippo and I am a fun, local Washington DC tennis coach with over 16 years of playing experience and over 3 years of teaching experience! Throughout my tennis career, I have competed in numerous national tournaments in Italy as well as international tournaments across Europe. Currently, I play for the University of the District of Columbia and continue to develop both as an athlete and as a coach. I offer all types of tennis lessons (private, semi-private, group lessons and hitting only sessions) suitable for all skill levels.
Together, we can start any kind of tennis training path, whether it’s a competitive and continuous program or a more occasional approach aimed at gradually improving all the key aspects of your tennis game. Together, we can work on every specific tennis shot like forehand, backhand, slice, volley, serve, single and double strategies. You can be sure that there will be plenty of fun, but also a strong focus on detail to make every session enjoyable and rewarding, while at the same time ensuring real progress and improvement of your game.
I teach tennis lessons in the Washington DC area but I will also travel up to 5 miles to a tennis court that is conveniently located near you.

Semi-Private Tennis Lessons (2 Players): $40 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (3 Players): $27 Per Hour Each
Group Tennis Lessons (4 Players): $20 Per Hour Each
Hitting Only Sessions (1 Player): $70 Per Hour
